About the ConferenceJoin Us at the 2024 Annual MACRAO Conference! We're thrilled to announce that registration is now open for the 2024 Annual MACRAO Conference, taking place from November 20-22, 2024, at the picturesque Bavarian Inn in Frankenmuth, Michigan. The MACRAO Annual Conference will be held in person. The 2024 Annual Conference is supporting the “I Support the 1%”: Veteran’s Food Pantry. This year's conference promises to be an enriching experience for all attendees, featuring engaging discussions, informative workshops, and valuable networking opportunities. Join us as we explore innovative strategies for empowering students and implementing success in higher education. Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to connect with colleagues, learn from educational experts, and gain valuable insights to enhance your professional practice. Our welcome session will kick off the conference at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, November 20th. The conference will conclude around noon on Friday, November 22nd. The agenda will be available soon. Watch for updates during the summer and early fall. While the Wednesday dinner is on your own, we encourage you to join other attendees at one of the local restaurants. We will share a list of restaurant ideas at the conference. On Thursday, we hope that you will join us for an optional dinner, laughter, and fun at Bavarian Inn. Be sure to indicate your participation on the registration form. During the Closing Session on Friday morning, there will be raffle drawings for college swag donated by conference attendees. If you are able, please consider donating some swag from your institution. The MACRAO Leadership Summit for the Board of Directors, Committee Chairs, and Committee Co-Chairs will be Wednesday, November 20th from 9:30 am-12:00 pm. A light breakfast will be available at 9:30 and the meeting will start at 10:00. Bavarian Inn ReservationsLodging Information: The conference will be held at the Bavarian Inn in Frankenmuth. Room rates are $139 per standard double room, $149 per premium queen or king room, and $209 per suite, single, double, triple, and quad occupancy per room, per night. Resort fees also apply. Reservations can be made by calling the toll-free number at 1-855-652-7200, or you may also make reservations online. Please use the code MACRAO or group number 13Q7HE when making your reservation. The conference rate is available for all reservations made prior to 10/15/24. The Bavarian Inn is not cash free. You may use cash or credit when at the resort. Any overnight guests will be able to use the waterpark facilities. You will get wristbands at check in. This is still the same as the past. The Exhibitor Hall is located in the main entrance to the conference venue. This space will be dedicated to exhibitor displays which will allow attendees to visit the exhibitor booths in passing between sessions as well as during planned breaks. Additional sponsorship opportunities can be done as an add-on to the above Exhibitor Hall Booth Space or as a stand-alone as non-exhibitor. Each opportunity is ideal for an organization to promote their product or service to colleges and universities, and be more visible to their colleagues. |
