2:45 to 3:30 p.m. — MASU and MCCA Legislative Updates Join our Association representatives for details and insight on state and federal legislation that have an impact on post-secondary institutions and education. Presenters: Mia Murphy (MASU); Katie Wikowski (MCCA)
Thursday, June 1510:15 to 11:00 a.m. — Credit for Industry Credentials In April of 2023, a new facet of the Michigan Transfer Network site was launched: Earn Credit for Industry Credentials. This session will review the background of the project, the process to develop the database, and the functionality of the site for colleges and students. Presenter: Jill Sweet
11:15a.m. to 12:15p.m. — Connecting Students Early with their Transfer Destination - FSU Connections program Learn about FSU’s Connections program that allows community college students to receive dual admission and dual advising. This allows community college students to have social and academic integration at both their community college and transfer university. Presenters: DeeDee Stakely and Darby Johnson and Shari Chamberlain
1:30 to 2:30 p.m. — Registrar Roundtable
Come to the Registrar’s round table- an open forum discussion where everyone will be able to participate and join in the conversation! Get answers to your burning registrar and academic advising questions, learn what others are doing in this ever changing field and come prepared to share what's new and exciting at your institution.
