About the Conference

The MACRAO Annual Conference will be held in person November 16^th-18^th, 2022 at the Bavarian Inn in Frankenmuth. 

Join us as we gather to share information, learn from our presenters, and reconnect with one another.

Our welcome session will kick off the conference at 1:30pm on Wednesday, November 16th and will conclude around 12:00pm on Friday, November 18th. The MACRAO Leadership Summit for Board of Directors, Committee Chairs, and Committee Co-Chairs will be Wednesday. November 16th from 9:00am-12:00pm.

For those attending in person, included in the price of your full conference registration is Thursday breakfast, Thursday lunch, Thursday dessert reception, and Friday breakfast. Dinner on Wednesday and Thursday will be on your own at one of the wonderful establishments around Frankenmuth. Keynote Session - "We're Real People, Too"

This year's keynote session, "We're Real People, Too" will be presented by Dr. Don DiPaolo, Professor and Director of the Leadership Minor Program at University of Detroit Mercy.

He is a leading national voice for effective undergraduate leadership education and has been recognized internationally for his contributions to campus life.

This keynote session will be a highly-interactive session where we discover our leadership strengths and styles. Participants will learn how to be more effective leaders of teams and will gain necessary tools for understanding others in the workplace.
